Applications
Filters for
every machine.
From compact passenger vehicles to severe-duty off-highway equipment, every major application class is covered with OE-grade filtration.
Applications
Every application
sets its own filter requirement.
Passenger cars, commercial vehicles, off-highway machines and industrial equipment use the same filter types but not the same filters. Airflow, dust load, operating temperature, vibration and service interval differ in every segment, and the filter is sized against those conditions.
The pages below cover each segment's filtration requirements, its typical applications and the filter groups used there. Which reference fits a specific vehicle is answered in the online catalogue.
Passenger Cars
Oil, air, fuel and cabin filters across petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric platforms.
Filters used in this segment
Oil, air, fuel and cabin filters, plus transmission filters on automatics
Commercial Vehicles
Filters for trucks, buses, vans and trailers; built for extended service intervals and demanding duty cycles.
Filters used in this segment
Oil, air, fuel, cabin, air dryer cartridge, AdBlue and coolant filters
Agriculture & Construction
Severe-duty filtration for tractors, harvesters, excavators, loaders and other off-highway equipment.
Filters used in this segment
Oil, air (with pre-separator), fuel, hydraulic and coolant filters
Industrial Equipment
Continuous-duty air, oil, fuel and air-dryer filtration for diesel gen-sets, air compressors, hydraulic breakers, stationary engines and other engine-driven industrial equipment.
Filters used in this segment
Air, oil and fuel filters, plus air oil separators on screw compressors

Frequently Asked Questions
Technical questions,
short answers.
What separates passenger car filters from commercial vehicle filters?
- The job is the same, the scale is not. Commercial vehicle filters are built around more media area, higher dust holding capacity and extended service intervals, and they see higher pressures and vibration loads. Passenger car filters prioritise maximum efficiency and quiet operation inside a limited volume.
Why is filter selection handled differently on off-highway machines?
- Agricultural and construction machines work in heavy dust, high humidity and under constant load. Those conditions call for pre-separators and secondary elements on the air side, and higher burst strength with clogging indicators in the hydraulic circuit. Intervals are tracked in operating hours rather than mileage.
Which filters do industrial installations use?
- Generator sets, compressors and stationary engines use continuous-duty versions of air, oil and fuel filters. Rotary screw compressors add an air oil separator. Service life here is measured in thousands of running hours, not days.
Can one filter fit several vehicles?
- Yes. A single reference usually covers many makes and models; what decides the fit is the connection dimensions, the flow values and the valve pressures. The application list in the online catalogue shows which vehicles each reference covers.
