Filtration / Hydraulic
Fluid-power cleanliness,
down to the micron.
Against wear particles, contamination and varnish; sub-micron cleanliness is maintained across return, pressure and suction lines through the full duty cycle.
Overview
Engineered for Performance
Hydraulic systems carry some of the most precise cleanliness requirements found in mobile and industrial equipment. Micron-level contamination can cause servo valves to seize, pump surfaces to wear, pressure to drop and machines to stop unexpectedly.
From construction machinery to agricultural equipment, from industrial presses to marine applications, every hydraulic circuit needs stable filtration performance through pressure fluctuations, temperature changes and the full change interval.
Fil Filter hydraulic filter elements are designed with micro-glass and synthetic media built for high efficiency and controlled dirt-holding capacity. Return-line, pressure-line, suction-line and transmission applications are developed with ISO 16889 multipass testing and OE qualification protocols in mind.
The aim is to reliably maintain hydraulic system cleanliness under pressure spikes, changing fluid temperatures and severe operating conditions.

Why It Matters
Precise hydraulic control
against sub-micron contamination.
In hydraulic systems, the cost of contamination most often comes not from the part itself but from the days the machine sits idle in the field. Filtration looks like a small line item; yet it directly affects equipment reliability, maintenance intervals and operational continuity.
Cleanliness That Matches the Spec
NAS 6 and ISO 4406 levels delivered, not approximated; the cleanliness modern hydraulic OEMs and industrial fluid systems put in writing.
Pressure Drop, Held Low
Optimised media surface area and construction keep restriction low across element life; system efficiency is not the price of cleanliness.
Long, Predictable Service Life
High dust-holding capacity and stable β-ratios mean fewer change-outs and no surprise pressure spikes; service intervals you can plan against.
Engineering Features
Micro-Glass Filter Media
Inorganic micro-glass fibre is the gold standard for hydraulic filtration; far higher β-ratios than cellulose at the same micron rating, and dimensionally stable under pressure pulsation.
Synthetic Multi-Layer Construction
Synthetic non-woven backing adds dust-holding capacity and lowers pressure-drop progression; cleanliness held without the system paying for it in efficiency.
Beta-Rated to ISO 16889
Every media variant validated by multi-pass methodology with documented β-ratios across the full particle-size range; not a marketing number, a test report.
Sub-Micron Efficiency
Hydraulic-specific media reaches 3 µm at β > 1000; cleanliness levels engine filters never need to deliver.
Bypass-Protected Construction
Return-line elements include integrated bypass valves to keep flow alive during cold-start viscosity spikes or contamination events; the system stays running, the element stays in place.
Pressure-Line Rated to 420 bar
Pressure-side elements built to withstand sustained operating pressure across the full envelope of mobile and stationary hydraulics; including pulsation and shock peaks.
Product Families
The circuit position changes,
the cleanliness target does not.
In return, pressure, suction and transmission circuits the filter's role changes, but the target stays the same: preserve fluid cleanliness and protect system components throughout the service interval. Fil Filter hydraulic solutions are developed against the requirements of circuit position, flow, pressure, temperature and cleanliness class.
Return-line filters protect the reservoir from contamination generated upstream. High-flow elements with integrated bypass valves keep the system protected during cold-start or contamination spikes; flow is preserved even when the element loads up.
Best For
Standard return-side position on mobile equipment, industrial power packs and any system where bypass protection is needed.
