Design to Series Production

An Engineering Partner

Embedded with
your engineering team.

A new filter request is not answered by quoting a catalogue part. The engineering team engages at the requirements stage, evaluates alternatives, redesigns against the application constraints, and defines the filter together with the customer.

The engineering team is structured around customer programmes, not internal department lines. For each new reference, a dedicated engineer takes ownership; the same person stays with the project from first concept through to series production.

Core Capabilities

Engineering processes
run in parallel.

CAD & Mechanical Design

3D parametric design with CATIA, SolidWorks and Creo. Direct interoperability with manufacturer CAD toolchains.

CFD & FEA Simulation

Airflow simulation for restriction and dust loading; structural FEA for housing strength, seal integrity and pressure cycling.

Materials Engineering

Continuous evaluation of new filter paper, adhesives and elastomers. Qualified through accelerated aging and field correlation tests.

Prototype to Series Tooling

Soft tooling for early prototypes, transitioning seamlessly to production tooling once design is validated.

Development Process

Design to series production,
under one discipline.

Phase 01

Concept

Joint definition of application, performance targets, packaging constraints and lifecycle requirements with the manufacturer team.

Phase 02

Design

3D mechanical design, filter paper selection, CFD restriction modelling and FEA structural validation. Iterated against targets.

Phase 03

Prototype

Soft-tooled samples produced in the prototype shop and tested against the customer specification in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.

Phase 04

Validate

DVPR programme: efficiency, dust capacity, pressure cycling, vibration, thermal endurance. Includes full documentation deliverables.

Phase 05

Production

PPAP submission, hard tooling release, line qualification and start-up of series production under full SPC monitoring.

Tools & Technologies

The toolchain
behind every reference.

Engineering and lab infrastructure benchmarked against tier-1 manufacturer suppliers. Customers arrive with their own toolchains and find a common engineering language.
