Applications / Agriculture & Construction

The machine, the operator, the season:
the filters that protect all three.

A combine harvester cannot stop in the middle of harvest; an excavator races a delivery date on the worksite. For these machines the right filter is not a routine spare; it is an engineering decision that protects the machine's life, the operator's health and the season's revenue all at once. The Fil Filter agriculture & construction portfolio meets that triple responsibility with parts engineered to OE specification and validated in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.

60+ YearsISO/IEC 17025 Accredited80+ Countries

A combine harvester ingests as much airborne particulate in one harvest week as a passenger car sees in a decade. An excavator runs its hydraulic system at 350 bar for twelve hours a day. The operator cab is exposed to agrochemicals, fertiliser vapour and worksite silica dust all day long. None of these tolerate an off-the-shelf filter, and there is no service window to fall back on.

The Fil Filter off-highway portfolio builds the full set to OE specification. Every part is designed against the manufacturer's acceptance criteria, produced on IATF 16949 audited serial-production lines, and validated in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Two-stage air, heavy-duty oil, fuel-water separator, hydraulic, transmission and two-stage cabin: one supplier, one engineering standard.

Our Edge

The Fil Filter advantage
in off-highway filters.

Dust load is orders of magnitude higher, hydraulic pressure is sustained, the operator is exposed to agrochemicals, and the service window is dictated by the season. The Fil Filter off-highway portfolio answers that reality with severe-duty engineering, compliance with hydraulic-cleanliness standards, EN 15695 cabin protection, and season-long field-proven durability; one supplier behind the whole set.

Off-Highway Severe-Duty Engineering

Off-Highway Severe-Duty Engineering

An off-highway machine is neither a car nor a truck. A combine harvester ingests in one harvest week as much dust as a car sees in a decade. An excavator runs its hydraulic system at 350 bar for twelve hours a day. A tractor works under continuous vibration over variable terrain. Every component is selected against that load.

Fil Filter off-highway parts are built to those exact specifications on IATF 16949 audited serial-production lines: pre-cleaner-housed two-stage air systems, pressure-rated hydraulic filters, vibration-tolerant gasket design, dust-tight assemblies. The parts offered in the aftermarket are the same parts running in OE fleet programmes.

  • Production audited to IATF 16949
  • Pre-cleaner + two-stage air system
  • Vibration and dust-tight assembly testing
  • Off-highway manufacturer's acceptance protocol

NAS 6 / ISO 4406 Hydraulic Cleanliness Discipline

NAS 6 / ISO 4406 Hydraulic Cleanliness Discipline

In an excavator's hydraulic system, micron-scale particulate can wear the valve body in a matter of weeks. The hydraulic filter, across return, pressure and suction lines, has to hold a NAS 6 / ISO 4406 cleanliness class. Claiming that class without lab testing is impossible.

The Fil Filter laboratory holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation; every instrument is independently calibrated each year. Hydraulic filters are validated under the ISO 16889 multi-pass protocol at real hydraulic flow conditions; a NAS 6 cleanliness-class certificate is provided per batch.

  • ISO/IEC 17025 accredited hydraulic test laboratory
  • ISO 16889 multi-pass protocol
  • NAS 6 / ISO 4406 cleanliness-class certificate
  • Return, pressure and suction-line filters from one set

Operator Cab, EN 15695 Protected

Operator Cab, EN 15695 Protected

A tractor operator is directly exposed to chemical pesticide, fertiliser vapour, organic dust and worksite silica during the harvest season. An off-the-shelf cabin filter cannot safely handle any of these loads. EN 15695 exists exactly for this: Category 2 (dust), Category 3 (aerosol), Category 4 (chemical vapour).

Fil Filter agricultural cabin filters are offered in EN 15695 Category 2, 3 and 4 grades to match the duty: multi-layer filter paper, antibacterial coating and activated carbon. They hold up under high humidity and sustain agrochemical-vapour adsorption.

  • EN 15695 Category 2 / 3 / 4 options
  • Activated-carbon agrochemical-vapour adsorption
  • Multi-layer filter paper stable under high humidity
  • ISO 11155-1 PM efficiency validation

Season-Long Endurance

Season-Long Endurance

A combine harvester cannot stop during harvest. On a construction site, the planned-maintenance window is set by the weather and the delivery date. The time to swap a filter is dictated by the calendar, not the machine. That is why a multi-thousand-hour service life and a predictable pressure-drop curve are not a nice-to-have; they are a requirement.

Fil Filter off-highway parts are engineered for service cycles of 2,000+ hours: high-capacity synthetic-reinforced filter paper, dust-tight gasket systems, stable performance through hydraulic pressure cycles. The filter installed at the start of the season runs to the end of the season.

  • Engineered for 2,000+ hour service cycles
  • High-capacity synthetic-reinforced filter paper
  • Stable performance through hydraulic pressure cycles
  • Predictable maintenance through harvest and worksite seasons
