Every product that protects an engine, cleans fuel or filters air serves sustainability by its very nature: more efficient combustion, longer component life, lower maintenance needs and less waste. That is the first half of the story; engineering at Fil Filter goes into strengthening that impact every day.
The second half is the operation that builds those filters. Rooftop solar investment, renewable electricity, an inclusive employment culture and ISO-certified environmental and energy management systems are part of that approach.

01 / Cleaner Products
Filtration, the product side of sustainability.
Every filter is designed to keep the system it serves cleaner and safer. Cleaner combustion in the engine, longer component life, lower contamination in fluids and cleaner air for the people inside the vehicle. For this reason, a filter properly designed is itself a direct sustainability product.
- OE-level filtration: developed to support cleaner combustion and lower particulate emissions in engines.
- High dust-holding capacity: extends service intervals; fewer replacements, less material waste.
- Multi-layer cabin filters: support occupant air quality with fine particulate, activated carbon and combination layers.
- Hydraulic and industrial filtration: reduces contamination-related failures and extends fluid and component life.
02 / Cleaner Operations
The plant carries the same responsibility.
The sustainability impact of a product is completed by the responsibility of the plant that builds it. At the İskenderun campus, Fil Filter takes concrete steps in energy efficiency, renewable energy use, waste reduction and product carbon footprint measurement.
- The solar investment covering the full factory roof was completed in 2025.
- From 2026 onwards, the goal is to source 100% of plant electricity from renewable sources.
- Manufacturing waste reduction, scrap reuse and material recycling are managed on an ongoing basis.
- Product carbon footprint is measured across the portfolio against a 2028 decarbonisation target.
