We are proud as the Fil Filter family: Ford Otosan named our company "Manufacturer of the Year" in this year's supplier review and presented us with the Gold Star Award. Receiving the award from Haydar Yenigün, President of the Koç Holding Automotive Group, was especially meaningful for us.
The review is built on four headings
Ford Otosan's annual supplier review looks at four headings:
- Quality consistency — every batch delivered to the same values
- On-time delivery — the order on site on the day and hour agreed
- Engineering collaboration — design revisions answered at the same speed
- Continuous improvement — measurable progress year after year
The Gold Star goes to suppliers that stay at the top across all four. Meeting the spec alone is not enough; you have to be part of the programme.
The discipline that produces this result
For a filter to reach the production line of a manufacturer like Ford Otosan, there has to be a discipline behind it. Ours stands on three legs:
- IATF 16949 — the automotive quality management standard; how every batch is produced, measured and traced is bound by written rules
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory — every product is verified against the test protocol the OEM specifies
- PPAP process — new parts are validated through sample approval before they enter serial production
The shared effort of the team
This award is the collective result of every colleague's work — from the line operator in production to the engineer in the lab, from the quality control shift to the export operation. A filter is produced correctly only when every department holds the same discipline, not just one.

The period ahead
An award confirms the period left behind. What matters is holding the same standard next year too. The coming period has three priorities: entering new manufacturer project partnerships, broadening the test scope of our accredited laboratory, and extending digital traceability to every step of the production line.
